Clever Dog Pulls Off Amazing Trick

Everyone wants to believe their dog is the smartest pup in the world but when this clever Golden Retriever performs his trick, it’s like watching something magical.

Dogs can be taught to do lots of fun things. Shake, fetching, and even playing dead are common tricks owners teach their adorable pups. Some dogs only learn a few while others have a long list of tricks they can perform on command.

Working dogs also learn how to do many things and do their job well. They detect explosives, find the lost, and even sniff out contraband fruit at the airport without missing a beat. Most of the time, their only reward is a fun game and lots of praise.

Whether trick or job, the common thread is that dogs must be trained to do it. Their ability to learn complex task is a mix of their genetics and the ability of the person training them. Happily, though, most dogs can learn to perform something on command.

However, super smart dogs can grasp complex sequence tasks and even make decisions on their own. They have an uncanny ability to seemingly read their owner’s mind and will anticipate what their owner is going to ask them to do.

Take this clever dog for example. His owner has taught him a trick that when broken down, actually involves several steps which the dog does flawlessly. This makes the trick seem even more impressive.

It all starts with the cute dog sitting and watching as his owner places some patterned blocks in a line in front of him. The blocks are then turned over and scrambled, like cards. The man then chooses a pattern from the second line of face-up blocks. Amazingly, the pup picks out the same card from the face-down stack.

But wait, the trick isn’t over yet. Over and over the amazing dog picks out the right blocks with the corresponding patterns until all the blocks are gone. Is it a counting trick, has the pup memorized the movements of the game or is something more magical going on?

However, the dog is performing the stunt, it’s a fantastic one. The dog is very smart, too. Do you think you could teach it to your dog? We hope you enjoyed it. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
