The Rescue Of Three Tiny Puppies Who Were Glued To The Earth
Sweet, innocent puppies should be running around, having fun, and safely exploring the world around them. Unlike these three tiny pups that found themselves in a tragic situation with little chance of escape.
These three puppies were in an area that was unsafe for any dogs, let alone innocent puppies. We’re not sure how they got there but their situation was dire when rescuers from Animal Aid United stumbled upon them.
The puppies were sealed to the ground in a small puddle of tar. They couldn’t move their tiny bodies and were obviously in pain. In their suffering, they were able to cry, and fortunately, their heartbreaking distress is probably why they were discovered.
Rescuers quickly got to work trying to free the puppies from their tar prison, but it wasn’t easy. The tar was in their fur and firmly attached to the earth. Rather than pull them out, they had to pry the pups from the ground with blankets of tar still attached to their bodies.
The horrifying scene was made even scarier when they discovered one of the puppy’s mouths was stuck open. The puppy’s situation was torturous and surely, she would have died had the rescuers not arrived when they did.
After they removed the pups from the tar, they quickly took them to the rescue center and began to remove gobs of tar from their fur. The job seemed impossible and was a lot of work, but the rescue team never gave up on the puppies.
Despite the trauma of what they went through, the exhausted puppies never gave up, either. The rescuers weren’t sure they’d survive but after several baths and several days later, they were recognizable again.
Soon the puppies began to recover from their horrible ordeal and were reunited with their mother. They began to enjoy all the things that puppies should be doing. Including playing with each other and their ball.
Thanks to the quick actions of the rescue, the three sweet puppies are alive today. They are true fighters and lucky to be alive. It’s nightmarish to imagine their fate had they not been found in time.
